The Great Global Warming Swindle
This should be recommended viewing for every single viewer of this blog. In fact, maybe the government should sent a copy of it to every school, like like they did the Al Gore flick. Enjoy this one, the scientific consensus is that you will:

a) The documentary does not mention that it follows from basic physics (which is beyond doubt) that CO_2 is a green house gas.
b) In the documentary the fact that CO_2 increase lags behind the temperature increase at the start of the interglacial periods is used to argue that CO_2 is not the cause of global warming.
This is a moronic argument. I mean, how could it be else? Did the Neanderthals cause the integlacials by pumping CO_2 in the atmosphere? Of course, you would expect to see that temperatures increase first, which in turn causes CO_2 levels to increase. But then the CO_2 amplifies the temperature increase, leading to a large temperature increase.
I read a report a few years back by a credible scientist that, the average temperatures reported every day,in a lot of places are wrong;lot of temperature mesurment stations were placed near airports and outside city limits many many years back.But towns and cities expands.Population and housing and businesses increase fast around an airport.Naturally the temperature around also will go up.Consider the explosion of the air traffic and its effect;like the hot exhaust coming out of powerful jet engines. I never heard about the amount of CO2 absorbed by rain water and the water in the ocean.when the CO2 level increases the absorbtion rate also should go up.Same with the utilisation of CO2 by the plants and phito-plancton in water.The absorbtion of CO2 by the plants will go up,with the increase of CO2 in the air, and carbohhydrate synthesis by the plants will also go up.During the fhoto-sythesis, all plants are always starving to get CO2.

It's a nonsensical documentary. They completely misrepresented climate science.

The point was that the timing was wrong. The levels were going down when they should have been going up.
